Small Animal Surgical Services (SASS) is seeking a Full Time Veterinary Technician for our new surgery center in Freeport, ME. The ideal candidate will provide skilled clinical support to the veterinary team, assist with surgical procedures, patient monitoring, and diagnostic testing. This role is central to delivering safe, compassionate, high-quality surgical and perioperative care to our small animal patients. We prefer graduates of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program. Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) in the State of Maine or the ability to obtain licensure is ideal. At SASS a fast-paced environment performing soft tissue and orthopedic procedures exists. Additional services include CT scanning and physical rehabilitation for our patients. To integrate well in our team, we prefer candidates who are hard-working, detail oriented, have time management skills and work well with others. Hospital hours will be Monday to Friday.
