Please join us IN-PERSON ONLY for the winter installment of the Maine Cattle Health Assurance Program (MeCHAP)-sponsored veterinary CE Series! Brought to you with generous support from IDEXX and the Maine Veterinary Medical Association.

This next presentation is coming right up on Wednesday February 14, 8:45 AM -3:30 PM (doors open at 8:15 for check in)and will focus on cattle, specifically.

LOCATION: 80 Blossom Lane, Room 101, Deering, Augusta, ME

COST: Registration fee is $75 for veterinarians, $40 for other staff.

Pre-registration is required to receive your continuing education credits (6 CEUs).  This is an IN-PERSON event only – no virtual access or recordings available. PLEASE register by February 7th to help us with lunch planning.

8:45 am to 9:00 am Welcome and Introduction

9:00 am to 11:30 am, INVITED KEYNOTE SPEAKER, Dr. Eugene White, Tufts, DVM, DAVBP – Clinician and Associate Professor, Tufts University, Mastitis and Calf Health

11:30 am to 12:15 pm,  Dr. Stefanie Bolas, DVM, MS, Maine State Veterinarian and Public Health Veterinarian. Dr. Taryn Pearson, BVMS, Maine Assistant State Veterinarian, State of the state of MaineCurrent activities and alerts

12:15 pm to 1:00 pm lunch hour (LUNCH PROVIDED)  with IDEXX presentation on testing services.

1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, Dr. Valerie Koenig, DVM,  New England Veterinary Medical Officer, USDA APHIS Veterinary Services will share Updates on TB and Brucellosis test chart electronic options, what test charts are used for, species-differences with testing, and Q&A on any USDA topic.

1:45 to 2:45 pm, Dr. Dana Hill, DVM, PhD – University of Maine Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, Live (presented remotely: Necropsy for the large and mixed animal veterinarian - covering general necropsy techniques, some comparative pathology, and case examples.

2:45 pm to 3:15 pm,  Donna Flint, ADT Technician, DACF – RFID, Animal Disease Traceability

3:15 pm to 3:30 pm,  Wrap up and survey for future events. CEU Certificates for those pre-registered (they will also be sent electronically).
